Sophistimicated?!

So no, these aren't RX glasses. Don't think I'm insane yet! For those of you who wear glasses & are wishing them away, you'll think I'm nuts but I've always thought glasses (well cute ones anyway) would be so fun to wear. Thankfully I still have 20/20 vision but I found a "reason" to get these (in the $1 bin at Target!) They only have 1.0 magnification and I use them at the end of my lash extensions to make sure I didn't miss a lash!

Gracie saw me in them for the first time today and had so much fun putting them on & off of me, she thought they were so cool. So I took a photo & sent it to Todd at work & what I wrote on the subject made it to the trash! Naughty naughty! I asked him in so many words if he needed to hire a secretary! Anyway, I'm just a big dork & this is for fun and one day when I don't have 20/20 vision I'll get to wear sparkley rhinestone ones! For now I'll just wear them during my lash services.

Wall-E, Space Shuttles, puppy, kitty & bunny oh my!

Gracie is inseparable with her puppy, kitty & bunny. First it was kitty from Ikea, then one day decided puppy (which she's had since she was born) needed to be her sidekick & this last week bunny was feeling left out. So these 3 go everywhere we go & they are with her most always wherever she is in the house. It was really cute at first and still is but seriously, one is enough, right? :) All day "where's my kitty?" "Where's my puppy?" I reply, "I don't know, where did you have it last?" A big "ummmmm, hmmmmm." So I help her & then when I find it I get a huge grin and a big "YYYYOOOUUUU found it!! Thank you mommy!" But in the car, she has to hold all 3 and will not let them go while I get her buckled in the car seat. That is frustrating. I do put my foot down and tell her she can only bring one in a store (sometimes none) and they'll wait for her. And she's good with that. So now she tucks them in around under her arms under her blankie at night, it' so sweet. So tonight I took a picture of her, kitty, puppy & bunny!

She drew a space shuttle today! I was impressed. She is still talking about the space shuttle going bye bye.

And Wall E, we can't forget about Wall E. She LOVES, ADORES him, doesn't stop talking about him how he went into outer space like the space shuttle she saw launch a month ago. I did remind her that he lived on planet earth where we do. If she grows up to be an astronaut I will understand! She goes around the house saying "Wall e's so silly!" With this big laugh, almost like she has a crush on him. And she'll say "I LOVE Wall E!" So today Todd and I decided to just go for it and we got her the remote control Wall E for Christmas. I can only imagine what her expression will be when she sees him sitting under the Christmas tree, that was really the big reason for me, to see her get so excited about him being in person. Or better yet I should stick him in her room for when she wakes up in the morning! Well if this is any indication how she'll pick her man one day, I have to say she's got good taste. He's cute, so sweet, romantic, brave, handy and very smart!

Dod Is So Dood!

I love love love the sweet sound of Gracie or any child sing. It is the sweetest, so unexplainable. And what's even cuter is how she mispronounces the words at this age. She's been singing God Is So Good for a while, then she'll get on a roll and really get loud and I want so badly to get her on video, "DOD IS SO DOOD!" But it won't happen because if ever I let her know I've heard her she says, "I not singing mommy!" And that's end of discussion. But it's her favorite, she also loves Jesus loves Me, her ABC's, and this other cute one from Veggie Tales, "Don't you know that God loves you" which is probably her 2nd favorite. And tonight during prayers she was lying on her back, folded her hands and put them above her chin and just smiled. Then later said "Love you, Jesus."

Happy Turkey Day!

Gracie sings this song & I thought it's perfect for today.

"I thank God for this day for some time to play outside for the birds and the trees, for His love that's deep & wide, for the air that I breath for my friends & family, that's why I say thanks everyday. Because a thankful heart is a happy heart, I'm glad for what I have, that's an easy way to start. For the love that He shares as He listens to my prayers, That's why I say thanks every day."
Veggie Tales :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Some Random Photos...

If they made this in my size I would totally wear it!

Lounging...Funny thing, she put these chairs together & did this on her own.

She still loves to play in the kitchen sink.

Silly face...

Loves makeup!

and Shelby & Monkey

One morning at 7am, was randomly inspired to stick her chef hat on & go sliding!

Loves to read...

Another silly trick, taking out the sink & getting inside. No bubbles in this one!

Gracie & Jack ~ they have a few things in common, one is being nudy!

Are those the cutest tooshies, or is that wrong? :)

I heart this dress!

And I double heart these legs! I love to squish & bite them! So cute.

First paint job! Not bad!

My sweet princess

Second paint job in action! Jen, I know you're freaking out at this! Did she drop the bottle? Is she gonna get it on the sofa? The carpet?

See? She's showing you what a perfect, clean job she's done! And take a look at those toes, poor baby, this was during the summer, I can't keep shoes on the girl & she scuffed them up a few times pretty bad. But she's got pretty toenails!

Jen, are you sitting down, girl? Take a valume. This is how the Field house rolls, the messier the better, I admit sometimes I'm a little too relaxed but just take a look at the play by play...:)

LOL

aaah yaaa...spaghetti & pudding ~ mama rocks!

One happy (messy) girl! (see Jen, try it!) hehe

Endeavour...Gracie's 1st shuttle launch

I had no idea a 2.5 year old would be so impacted by a space shuttle launch. Granted, we did get to see it live in our back yard! First the trees had a bright orange glow & then the rocket peered up over them, (looking like the last photo) zooming up high in the sky! Gracie yelled "look, the space shuttle!" She was wide eyed and so excited. We watched it until it looked like a star in the sky and ever since she's been asking about it "where'd space shuttle go?" "I don't see the space shuttle, mommy!" "Up high in the sky?!" Today she was even talking to the neighborhood kids & adults, pointing up in the sky, asking if they see the space shuttle. So I turned on the TV today to see if I could find the astronauts in space because she was relentless about them. Sure enough we found them, she was delighted. I also went online to find her photos and this is what I found. So she was very happy to be able to look at them!
